For the past decade I have devoted my art primarily toward portraiture. The classical approach to studying the human form was through cast studies and the effect light plays on the subject. My hope is that these exercises will continue to develop my skills while allowing me to have fun rendering them in pen and ink.
I am continuously amazed at the vision, creativity, and craftsmanship of artist who sculpt. To be able to render something so lifelike with stone is an incredible feat.
